For sale is a highly collectible Heywood - Wakefield Co. walking stick cane. This cane has a stamped hand-grip that reads “More Than a Century of Progress” - Heywood Wakefield Co. 1826 to 1933. The World’s Fair held in Chicago in the years 1933 to 1934 had a “Century of Progress” theme and this piece was sold or given away during the fair. The cane is about 34.0” long and in good condition and the tip is missing but easily replaced. This is a great old “RARE” piece and is for the 1933 Century of Progress collectors, the Heywood-Wakefield furniture collectors and the advertising walking stick walking cane collectors.
