Glit Reykjavik was a ceramic studio in Iceland, founded in 1958 by Ragnar Kjartansson, along with Einar Eliasson and Pétur Sæmundsen. Kjartansson, a sculptor and ceramic artist, played a key role in the studio's development and its distinctive use of Icelandic clay and volcanic materials, particularly lava, in their pottery. Glit is known for its "fat lava" style and brutalist designs, capturing the rugged beauty of the Icelandic landscape.
