This toy set, produced in 1996 in collaboration with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, was designed to recreate the Mars Pathfinder mission. Includes a Lander that unfolds with three solar panels and a 6-wheel robotic rover with a movable antenna. This pack was one of the most popular Hot Wheels products of 1997 due to the hype surrounding the actual Mars mission. Item is unopened in original packaging in great condition and featuring the original sale sticker from KB Toys on bottom.
